PUBLIC DISPLAYS OF THERAPY

Public Displays of Therapy is an intimate, immersive new work in development.

It is a live art performance work that seeks to provide a window into the mysterious, illustrious therapy room. What is usually kept hidden behind closed doors, is cracked open for private and public viewings.

The aim of this work is to challenge the perceptions, bias and stigma of therapy, placing it in an open and visible space where the greater public can observe and witness the session as it unfolds.

Recently shown as a part of La Boite HWY (Brisbane) and Melbourne Fringe Festival at Testing Grounds, Melbourne. This development was supported and made possible by The MIECAT Institute and Access Arts.
